A translation layer inside your WordPress, not a service in front of it
JurisLingo uses the architecture the serious multilingual plugins proved, then adds the translation quality, SEO automation and migration tooling they never built.
What happens when someone visits /es/
WordPress renders normally
A visitor opens yourfirm.com/es/car-accident-lawyers. JurisLingo lets WordPress render the English page exactly as it always does, whatever theme or builder produced it.
Text is swapped locally
The rendered HTML is parsed and every text segment, title, meta tag, alt attribute and schema string is replaced with its Spanish translation from a table in your own database. Lookup is local and instant.
SEO tags are injected
Correct es-US hreflang, canonical tags, translated metadata and bilingual schema are added, and the finished Spanish page is served. It is plain HTML, so your page cache and CDN cache it like any other page.
The resilience guarantee: any segment without a translation renders in English and quietly queues itself for translation. A missing translation, an API outage, even cancelling your subscription: none of it can break a page. The worst case on your website is English.
Translate once, own forever
When you publish or edit content, new segments are queued and sent to the Juris translation service. A frontier AI model translates them with legal instructions: neutral es-US Spanish, your practice areas named the way prospects search, disclaimers kept faithful, glossary enforced.
The result is written to your database once. From then on it is served locally with zero marginal cost, which is why JurisLingo has no word caps: the economics of translating once simply do not require them.
Machine translation is the starting point, not the ceiling. Your team refines translations in the visual editor, and those edits are yours, stored next to everything else in your database.
Why this beats a proxy
- No DNS changes or traffic interception
- No per word billing for the same content twice
- No vendor outage that takes your pages down
- No hostage data. Export or keep everything, any time
- Page caches and CDNs just work
The Weglot exit, engineered
Most firms stay on Weglot for one reason: years of accumulated translations and edits they cannot bear to lose. The Migration Autopilot removes that reason.
While your Weglot subscription is still active, it walks your site, fetches each English page and its live Spanish counterpart, aligns them node by node, and harvests every translation pair into your database. Human edits included. Coverage is verified page against snapshot before you are allowed to cut over, and verified again after.
One pilot firm: 139,990 segments imported, gaps from Weglot's word cap detected and filled, zero downtime at cutover, and Weglot cancelled the same week.

Does it work with my theme and page builder?
Yes. JurisLingo translates the final rendered HTML of each page, so it works with any theme, Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, shortcodes and custom builds alike. It does not care how the page was made, only what it says.
Will it slow my site down?
No. Each language lives at its own URL, so translated pages are cached by your existing page cache and CDN exactly like English pages. Segment lookups hit your local database, not a remote API. There is no external call in the request path.
Does it change my DNS or route traffic through a proxy?
Never. JurisLingo is a real WordPress plugin running inside your site. Proxy services intercept your traffic through their infrastructure, which is exactly why their outages become your outages and their cancellation becomes your data loss.
What does the translation service actually do?
New and changed text segments are queued and sent to the Juris translation API, which prompts a frontier AI model with legal instructions, your market's Spanish variant and the attorney glossary, with DeepL as a fallback engine. Results are written into your database once and served locally forever.
How does the Weglot migration verify nothing was lost?
Before cutover, every translated page is snapshotted from your live Weglot site. The autopilot imports translations, machine translates anything Weglot skipped, then verifies coverage page by page with a 95% gate. After cutover it verifies again versus the snapshots, checking for English leaks and structural differences. You see every number before you switch.
